2009 SLA All Sciences Online Poster Session starts today

The 2009 SLA All Sciences Online Poster Session is starting today, Thursday October 15. The conference features posters originally presented last June at the SLA Annual meeting in Washington, D.C. The divisions sponsoring and participating in this conference are Biomedical & Life Sciences; Chemistry; Engineering; Food, Agriculture & Nutrition; Physics, Astronomy, Mathematics; Science-Technology. The online conference will offer the attendee the opportunity not only to view the posters, but to engage in asynchronous conversations with the presenters for the duration of the event.
The event will last through October 29
As the first USF librarian at the Lakeland campus (now Polytechnic), I opened the USF Polytechnic Library in January 2007 and have developed its various services.
I've held positions as information broker, Internet consultant and academic librarian in Canada, the US and Europe.
A blogger since 2001, I've created and maintained several sites in, and outside, of the biblioblogosphere.
I'm active in SLA, and currently serve as Chair of the Information Technology Division.
