IEEE news

IEEE has made the first seven years of its first journal available in Xplore. Now titled Proceedings of the IEEE, the journal was titled The Proceedings of the IRE when it premiered in January of 1913. The IRE (Institute of Radio Engineers) was one of two organizations which merged to form the IEEE in 1963.

The journal’s issue from 1963 are already available in the database. The volumes between 1919 and 1963 will be forthcoming in a few months.
