A CRCnetBASE newsletter made its way for the first time in my email inbox; I don’t know if this is a new initiative.
- New features: libraries will soon be able to integrate the CRCnetBASE products to their federated search client management software to search across the collections. Athens authentification compliance will follow
- New and forthcoming netBASEs include CHEMLIBnetBASE, NANOnetBASE, AGRICULTUREnetBASE and TEXTILEnetBASE.
- CRC is looking for beta testers for CRCnetBASE products. You have to be an existing subscriber. Contact Robert Morris for more information
- The 86th edition of the Handbook of Chemistry and Physics is now available. It sports new tables but I haven’t checked if existing tables have been taking out.
As the first USF librarian at the Lakeland campus (now Polytechnic), I opened the USF Polytechnic Library in January 2007 and have developed its various services.
I've held positions as information broker, Internet consultant and academic librarian in Canada, the US and Europe.
A blogger since 2001, I've created and maintained several sites in, and outside, of the biblioblogosphere.
I'm active in SLA, and currently serve as on the boards of the Academic Division and the Florida-Caribbean Chapter.
