ASEE-ELD volunteering opportunities

The Engineering Libraries Division of ASEE is looking for nominations/volunteers for two elected positions and two appointed positions:
- Secretary/Treasurer (elected)
- Director (elected)
- Membership Committee Chair (appointed)
- Development Committee Coordinator (appointed)
For more information of the responsabilities, check the ELD bylaws. If you are interested in one of the appointed positions, email Jill Powell at jhp1@cornell.edu by February 3, 2006. State why you are interested and include a resume (or summary of your background). If you are interested in one of the elected positions, email Andy Shimp. I don’t know the deadline for this but since the slate of candidates will be announced by the Nominating Committee no later than February 17, 2006, my guess is that it’s soon enough.

As the first USF librarian at the Lakeland campus (now Polytechnic), I opened the USF Polytechnic Library in January 2007 and have developed its various services.
I've held positions as information broker, Internet consultant and academic librarian in Canada, the US and Europe.
A blogger since 2001, I've created and maintained several sites in, and outside, of the biblioblogosphere.
I'm active in SLA, and currently serve as on the boards of the Academic Division and the Florida-Caribbean Chapter.
