Not solely related to scitech librarianship but a little something to be thankful for: the ACRL has announced that its journal College & Research Libraries will now be available free of charge in PDF format on the ACRL website six months after publication. Retrospective issues now are available through volume 58 (1997).
As the first USF librarian at the Lakeland campus (now Polytechnic), I opened the USF Polytechnic Library in January 2007 and have developed its various services.
