Derwent on STN free workshops

STN/FIZ Karlsruhe and Thomson Scientific will offer an other series of free intermediate/advanced workshops on patent search skills using Derwent databases on STN. Workshops will take place in Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, DC. Derwent World Patents Index (DWPI); Derwent World Patents Index First View; Patents Citation Index (DPCI); Chemistry Resource (DCR)and GENESEQ on STN (DGENE)are the databases featured in the workshop. As the first USF librarian at the Lakeland campus (now Polytechnic), I opened the USF Polytechnic Library in January 2007 and have developed its various services.
