New book series from the Royal Society of Chemistry

The RSC has announced the lauch of three new book series:
- Biomolecular Sciences is comprised of research level books, covering the areas of structural biology, chemical biology, informatics, drug discovery and development, and biophysical chemistry.
- Nanoscience and Nanotechnology provides a comprehensive source of information on research associated with nanostructured materials and miniaturised lab on a chip technologies. The series is edited by Nobel prize winner Harry Kroto and Paul O’Brien.
- Issues in Toxicology covers modern toxicology and assessment of risk and is responding to the resurgence in interest in these areas of scientific investigation.

As the first USF librarian at the Lakeland campus (now Polytechnic), I opened the USF Polytechnic Library in January 2007 and have developed its various services.
